To be fair, they did repave the downhill section of the prologue explicitly for the Tour (they mentioned this in the coverage).

And if there weren't pot holes on the road, how would we know it was really Edmonton?

For Paris-Roubaix they get a cobblestone, but for winning in Edmonton they should have given Sagan a piece of asphalt with a pot hole in it.

Pretty strong break, Cannondale will need to do some chasing or Sagan's lead is in trouble.

Dennis, Bookwalter, Gretsch, Gesink, Caruso, Mancebo, Anderson, Friedemann, Novak, Morabito, Vennell, Jones.

+45 Sweeting, Kruijwijk, Cataford, Kroupis, Burghardt, Stemper.

Dennis leader. Gesink virtually 4th.

Guess Gesink should specialize in short flat stage races now

Nah I'd rather see him sign Androni and ride Settimana Lombarda again, like in the good old times. :D And regain that awesome accellerion and climbing from his U23 days.

Now he's almost pack fodder in GT's.
