interesting thing will be that top sprinters team will be tired to set up a proper train: some underdog team might be able to take the lead in the final kms
Cannondale and Viviani for the win!!

5 minutes in 20kms, good going.

At the risk of rehashing old ground, you can cut a gap by 5mins instantly if you want to - would be more interested to know what the maximum distance between them was on a flat stage like this.

Cavenditch won - looked like Nikki moved him forward a little near the end but to be honest I had very little idea where he was until he was in perfect position at 300m to go, 2nd wheel.

Cav was nowhere to be seen in the last km, until someone from either Cannondale or CSF brought him in perfect position in 2nd place.

Jeez, you can get a spot on the line for this race if you want. No spectators, I mean.

People will still turn up in July an start talking **** about sprint trains and not realise they're talking about Greipel and not Cav.

If the chasing group is 10 minutes behind and then instantly doubles its pace, it is suddenly 5 minutes behind.

This is not true.

Fair play to Cavendish. Three wins already this year is a good start in anyone's book.
