He's not a climber anyway, and certainly not against Sky. I just hope he picks up a stage win along the way to a good GC placing.

Forget him. Something is seriously wrong with his training, motivation, team , leadout, positioning and sprinting. This is the person Cavendish said he fears the most but it was the "Gorilla" who defeated him in the TDF. Goss is gone. He is getting defeated by second stringers.
