Castroviejo will surprise, maybe podium (stage).

Podium wouldn't be that surprising . A win yes, a podium stage would be his goal rather, not a surprise :)

Kwiatkowski should do well as well for OPQS so theyll have 2 right up in GC. Expecting Dowsett to be top 10 at least

Both kloden and menchov are up there in the GC!
And westra looks good gor the win if he puts in a strong time trial to hold off martin.

I'll have to start to hate Henao, always in the way of Rui Costa: last year in Mallorca, this year coming to Portugal riding like a boss :D Seriously, he was due a win, and this is nothing for his big talent.

He wasn't ahead of Costa in Mallorca last year.

Correct he, Bos, Wagner, Aberasturi, Van Vooren, Cunha, Pereira, Oliveira (not the one from shack) and Matias DNF

It's really shamte that the quality of the peleton is so low. Would be cool if there were at least 2 or 3 riders in the race that could have challenged Tony and made this an interesting race. Victories against no competition simply don't shine to brightly.

If the TT was of a length that made the course balanced, it would have made the guys like Henao and even Costa into legit competition, but with a 35km ITT and the timegaps in question, it is so clearly a TT plaything that Tony showing up kind of hurts the race.

Oh well, back to Nové Město.

Don't know why Sky sent both Wiggo and Porte to Oman.

Pretty poor result from Kelderman, finishing behind Jesse Sergent on a climb. Very good by Edmondson, OTOH.

Tony Martin should still win the overall, but Westra is apparently in his once-a-season form again and should give him a hard time.

Any chances for Wilco for a top 3? Also what you guys say about 5.50 odds for Henao to win any stage in Vuelta?

Why are there hardly any TTers that can climb on such montains like today?
Really, there are like 50 really good climbers in the sport.
But there are almost no Tters who can climb a little bit these days.

Yes, Westra will hopefully make the race a contest at least.

Good to see Henao finally get a win, even if it was expected. I hope he goes to Paris-Nice instead of T-A, where he would probably end up working for Froome.

:( that sucks + not good for my cq team, now I only have Boaro and Edmondson left in the race and it seems like both won't score much points in GC if they score points at all.

By the way Manuele won the KOM classification but of course I don't get points for that in a 2.1 race

What do you mean, no TTers who can climb. In this race alone, there's Costa, Westra, Klöden, Menchov, and Kwiatskowski ahead of Tony Martin. All TTers who can climb.

Cool story bro

I'm sry about that. Shouldn't wrote that post at all. I just had so much bigger expectations after TDU. And then he of course fails big time.

Still I'm a troll, but very angry and disappointed troll.
