We traveled on roads that smell like hiking and skiing every meter we go, with a climate milder than in previous days.

Valverde moves closer to cementing the points competition too.

he was 9 pts ahead of roche yest. now it is a 12 point lead. I think he needs more to cement the jersey.

movistar is adamant on keeping the gap in check.

Astana was spent yesterday keeping Arroyo in check. And now Movistar is doing the same with Dominik Nerz who is riding to become the new Francis de Greef.

4 points not 3

sorry, got mixed up with seconds and points.

Valverde thinks that earning extra seconds as bonus is the only way to gain time today.

hope roche proves him otherwise.

Beñat Intxausti (6) and Sylvester Szmyd (9) bridged to the leaders.

CAS should stop working in the break from now on.

I think they may slow down a bit now.

Lord, Kirby is just dreadful at starting up the stage coverage. Has no clue how to provide useful content, just his usual verbal diarrhea

Peloton doesn't appear to be letting the break get another 10 minutes like they have the last couple days. But was thinking if we do end up with a lone survivor from the break riding away for the win, Nerz could be a good bet. Not quite as well known as some others, but young and a pretty good climber.
