In the Tour JRod just had a problem finding form early on, however after a long tour, where he hit form first on Mont Ventoux and is trying to carry it over all the way to now, surely he will be on form best at in the first 2 weeks, and start to fade a bit in the 3rd?

Don't think so, J-Rod will strike hard in 3rd week, in particular on Angliru. Time will tell.

Saxo is hot even though they claimed they are not here for the GC I wouldn't be surprised if they put some special effort in attempting a 3 rd stage win. As they stand now they are in a position to try for stages as well as the final podium

My prediction would be Ivan Basso or Mikel Nieve. I think that Nibali will be just a bit off the pace but only loose <1minute. Group of 5-6 top GC guys finishing together with either Basso or Nieve off the front by 10-15 seconds getting the stage win. Another group with Nibalia, Horner in it will be 20-30 seconds off the top 5-6 guys.

there are reducing transfers means, i guess
