So, OPQS with 6 leadout guys but no real sprinter (from the provisional startlist). Renshaw, Petacchi, Meersman, Steegmans, Trentin and Alaphilippe are all kind of fast but not fast enough. Only chance would be for Meersman/Alaphillipe/Trentin to attack on one of the climbs at the end and try to win it from there.

Just quoting myself to show that I knew it all along. Trentin and Alaphilippe in the break. :D

And Yates.

Yes, thank you. I missed him at first sight.

Let us wait and see if they manage to stay away 'til the end. Good call.

Katusha puling hard with 4-5 men. Kristoff, Greipel, Cav, Kittel, all in the group. Gerrans and EVH too. No sight of Modolo and Démare.

2k to go.

Kristoff, Nizzolo, Gerrans.

Modolo was there and got boxed. I had high hopes for him.

Okay, I did not expect Cavendish to be still there at the end. But what a season so far for kristoff. Awesome rider and person. I like him a lot and he deserves this vicotry! :)

OPQS must be over the moon with Cavs performances.

Their train failed though. Only appeared inside the last K and quickly got boxed.

You must give Katusha the credits for the fact they saw potential in him when BMC dropped him. He's at the moment on of the best cyclist in the world.
