The question we should be asking is that has Froome ever lost 10 seconds in a prologue and won the race? (optional:and with a ITT at the end?)

Kwiat can climb, sprint, TT, cook, clean, fix cars, paint, and write music.

Best. Human. Ever.

Seriously though, the kid is impressive.

haha, brilliant! :)

Excellent ride by Froome considering he hadn't raced for a month before this. He's never been a prologue specialist.

Kwiatkowski just a special talent, he never ceases to amaze me.

Nice performance by Nizzolo too.
And that time by Basso hints at a rising form. Perhaps he's got something left in the tank after all.

Of course he has won after losing time in a prologue. But the other question is has he ever been this vulnerable coming into the Tour? It's gonna be an interesting race. Question marks on several riders form....Froome, Nibali, Roche, ect.

Man I feel bad for Tejay....I really wanted to see him up there in the GC.

''Excellent'' is way OTT. Not a bad result though.

He has no racing days in the past month and there were several question marks about his form.
Yet he comes into this race and performs on par with his 2012 TdF prologue result.

I'll scale it down to "very good" in my book, but nothing less.

Profile of tomorrow's circuit (that they for some reason decided to do in the wrong direction...):

PS: Please don't quote this post with the picture :)

edit: Kwia to top-2 and lead CQ-ranking this season.

Tomorrow they predict snow to 1500 m, perhaps even lower. The Simplon pass (which isn't that difficult by the way) is 2000 m...

if that is the case I doubt skinny Froom can do anything spectacular, his non-existent body fat will put him into hypothermia very quickly. His body type is only good for racing in the hot weather.

They said on Swiss TV that the road could be cleared but that there avalanche risks so it was likely the riders would catch up with the planned route it in buses/cars...

TVG's jersey was pretty ripped but he seemed ok when he passed the line, so hopefully no major damage.

He said yesterday he lost 1.5 kg in Tenerife training but he needs to loose another 1.5 until LeTour. So he's still fat by alien standards.
