He can but he shouldn't bet on it. Froome is also a pretty good tt'er. Personally I don't think either one of them will take the final overall. Nibali will take the win with a stellar performance today, and then he'll defend his lead in the tt.

Small group of the best climbers to play out the win. Only Froome could try to create a 20-30 sec gap to hold it downhill if the descent is not too technical, he is not strong enough so far. Nibs could try to go away on the descent in case it's pretty tricky, but I don't think big guns are interested in undue risk in the preparatory race.

Froome needs to drop only Tony Martin and not lose 30secs+ to Nibali on descent today. Kwiat doesn't make it over the penultimate climb, seems tired to me. Should be an easy GC win for Froome but who knows how it ends.

checking the finale and i messed it at first when i gave the details about the climb. they will go through les devens. so the final climb is 9,0 kms@7,7% ! i think froomey in flying form can give more than 30 sec to the next arrived at the top.

Its not 'silly' at all...it was an easier stage and his peak is Tour this year

Froome has to attack today,if he will be in a group with Nibali on top of the last climb,Nibali will kill him in that descent
