yes he has to attack otherwise Nibali will put time in to him + 10 bonus seconds

doesn't matter if he is catched later on descent, chasers have to take extra risks and better chances he finish in the group.

edit: and it depends if it rains, if last descent is in heavy rain nobody, even Nibali, wont risk anything, just not worth the trouble.

Grivko (AST) is up the road. Would not be an unheard tactic for Nibali to get away on 2nd or 3rd descent and join with Grivko. Most likely on 3rd (penultimate) descent.

Today looks a good stage and if raced hard will create some big gaps. No doubt the climbers will try and drop Martin,Kwia and co. I'm sure Froome will attack but not sure if he has the form to sustain it yet.

i saw he is tired but expected him to last at least 3 from 4 climbs

No he won't. It will prove to hard for him, so he will miss the top10 again by an inch. Costa will smash everyone in the Risoul stage which he marked as his favourite in the Tour presentation.
