Normally Fuglsang and Nibali sould be fighting for third place, cause I think Costa will still be somewhat hampered by his shoulder injury.

And then you have Talansky and Izagirre who are still within striking distance for the top five.

Fuglsang has never been a top consistent TT'er. Not before '11 or after. Once in awhile he performs well and this was one of these times he did pretty good.

My point is nothing has changed. He might perform tomorrow, we shall see.

Is Freddie Kessiakoff ready to suffer today? He hasn't produced any outstanding results for quite some time having had injuries and sickness.

Where was he brought back?

At the end of the descent he had 30s (edit: actually a full minute) to Froome and Wiggo. Maybe that's not a gap according to you, but it is to me.

Remember this:

Yup i do and you seen what i said when has Nibali been with a rider and literally dropped them. Not like Froome thought crap Nibali has gone i better go with him isit he wold nevr make it Nibali from far.

Yes I know that, but that was a very, very hilly or almost mountainous tt. He has been lacking power on the flat ones as a result of focus on climbing. I would be glad to be proven wrong though.

Look at his results from 2011. 4th in Pais Vasco itt, 7th in California, 3rd Criterium International (short itt), 7th Tour de Suisse, 6th Vuelta and 10th at the worlds. That's pretty decent I would say and he hasn't been tt'ing at that level ever since.

You said he never got a gap. He did.

...

If Froome or Wiggo could follow him there they would.

Fuglsang said last year that he is not as good a time-trialist as previously as a result of his focus on climbing. He believes that his improvements in the mountains more than makes up for his losses in timetrials in relation to getting a good result in the GC of a Grand Tour.

Go easy on him. I don't think English is his first language. At least I hope it isn't.

Freddie is ready to suffer.

Watch out in the TDF.

You have been warned.

Tony Martin signe le meilleur temps provisoire: 24'51 à la moyenne de 44.849 km/h.
The average wind speed seems to be going down slightly.
If that trend is confirmed, a late starter will win.
