Van Baarle could do really well, but don't know his condition as he missed the opening weekend (illness?)...

I see Le Bon continuing with some impressive performances like those we saw in Omloop. And I see those performances bringing in some equally impressive results.

Not a ton of big names, but lots of young talent at this race I notice. Stuyvens, Alaphilippe, Dillier, Zabel, De Bie, Van Baarle, etc. Will be introducing to see how the u23/first year pro guys do.

The last few years it has indeed been a good race for introducing new potential in the peloton. Always interesting to follow. I for one noticed Kwiatkowski here for the first time in the 2011 edition and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

Current top 10:

1 DE GENDT Thomas (Omega Pharma - Quick Step) 08:11
2 SENECHAL Florian (Cofidis) 08:12
3 LAPORTE Christophe (Cofidis) 08:13
4 KOHLER Martin (BMC) 08:15
5 ZABEL Rick (BMC) 08:18
6 BAGDONAS Gediminas (AG2R) 08:19
7 ROSSELER Sebastien (Veranclassic - Doltcini) 08:22
8 THÖMEL Tino (Team Stuttgart) 08:24
9 VAN HOECKE Gijs (Topsport Vlaanderen - Baloise) 08:25
10 VEUCHELEN Frederik (Wanty - Groupe Gobert) 08:26

Strong performance by Cofidis so far.

According to the ticker Kwiatkowski completed the same prologue in 8:00 minutes in 2012, while Vandewalle won in 2013 with a time of 8:09.

Senechal is certainly going to one to watch in the future. :)

Apparently Kwiatkowski won on the ame parcours in 8 minutes and Vandewalle in 8:09. De Gendt has 8:12, but it's supposed to be very windy today. I guess some riders will still break that time, but unless the wheather was unfortunate last two years as well, it seems De Gendt has actually done a decent time, and certainly Senechal, being very young and only a second behind.

EDIT: boomcie beat me with the info
