You do know the key point in the race (Oude Kwaremont-Paterberg) is also cobbled, right?

should not have used the word muur but hellingen, climbing on cobbles is different to the flat out pace on a flat section

The cobbled climbs won't be a problem for Valverde when seen in isolation. Its all the fighting for positioning, knowing the route, when to spend and when to save energy. Add his team is not really used to ride for a captain in these races and it all seems a big task.

Still very happy he's here, Nibali should have a go later as well.
