well that's some speed from bmc. seems like the giro d'italia will be a cadel-basso battle as i predicted :p seriously now, really awesome start of season by bmc.

Jury's still out on basso as far as i'm concerned.

Got to be good for Cadel's head to have a team that is firing on all cylinders. Plus the team seems to ride well when they know their leader is on form. Good omens I hope.

NetApp with uber performance, I just knew it. It's going to be fun to see Konig, de La Cruz and Machado wipe BMC. :D

I'm ready to see Konig race. He hasn't done anything since February. Very quiet year.

Evans with serious ambitions here.

Don't. Machado is the leader. Konig was sick, preparing for Tour here.

Yes, Konig hasn't ridden badly so much as he hasn't been in races at all. They kept scheduling his comeback from whatever injury he is carrying and then pulling him at the last minute. Machado has had to step up to the plate in his absence and has been good so far. Presumably Konig will be top dog again in a race or two's time, but for now the word from the team management is that he is just trying to get some racing and Machado is still leader for this one.

I could see Machado getting another decent result here. Too mountainous and too strong a climbing field for him to contend, but a good placing is not beyond him given his season so far.
