Sporza was just on the phone with Lefevre, apparently the teams have agreed to clear all the differences made untill the last climb. Only the Giro officials wont comply.

SBS TV just interviewed Matt White of OGE. Apparently an official statement will be made after todays stage. I got the impression it may alter the results of yesterdays stage.

One thing for the teams to agree, another for the Race Organisers to though.

They were on the phone with a jury member now, and he said theres 0 chance they're gonna change the outcome of the stage.

So case closed.

Sporza telephoned a UCI official who said that the case is closed, they took note of the DS point of view, but decided - backed by UCI HQ in Aigle - to not change or alter anything concerning the results...

It would be farcical, for example pozzovivo lost time yet he gave it his all on the descent he said. They can't change it, it would be ridiculous.

Just have Quintana wait at the start of his TT, then.

Majka is a crappy descender, as well. It would be a huge favor to them.

Sucks for riders like Kiserlovski, though, who would have certainly followed Quintana if they knew the descent wasn't neutralized

It looks like the only winners are Rolland and Hesjedal, as Quintana was going to win anyway, and most of the hate is directed towards him.

such a sedate thread today.

it seems that the number of posts in this thread reflects the GC guy's psyche now

Poor little *** who clearly disobeyed the rules by passing motorcycle to gain advantage over contenders and from being over 2 minutes back in GC now has a nice cushion over other rivals. On top of that now he is lying by denying that he even saw that moto. Really feel sorry for him.....
