What a joke this stage is. Who would have thought that the Zoncolan stage would be among the most boring of the Giro?

Imho fans shouldn't be allowed on the road. Stay on the side and cheer the riders as they pass. Don't run with them and don't touch them.

No way. The feed gets terribly boring otherwise. How many of you are complaining the Zoncolan is boring now despite the pace shelling riders?

Worse than 2011 Sestriere stage by far. At least that had a deserving winner and an emotional triumph. This had neither, and the finish just leaves me disgusted and angry. And then the GC guys beyond the top 2 ride in together like they've been on a group ride just to pour salt into the wounds.

I don't think he had to wait. I'd rather the Giro organizers had stated definitively sooner so that the chasers could get themselves organized and bring it together before Martelltal.

Forza Bongiorno :( he's long gone now though, and one of the top 5 least likable cyclists in the péloton is going to win and go down in the legend of this climb. A very bitter pill.

sport needs some villains ;)
who are the other 4 by the way?

Stage pretty much disappointed. Heck I enjoyed the 2011 version MUCH better and that race was all but over at that point.

Boring stage, would have liked a different winner, no GC action, stupid fans...

...But at least Quintana has now won the Giro! :)

Hat off to Uran for keeping his podium spot. I don't know why he seems to be so disliked in this forum.

It seems the relationship between Uran and Quintana is kinda frosty at the moment.

the stelvio stage and that mountain that followed was the race in a nutshell

today was just a neutralised procession for the leaders
