What a joke this stage is. Who would have thought that the Zoncolan stage would be among the most boring of the Giro?

Imho fans shouldn't be allowed on the road. Stay on the side and cheer the riders as they pass. Don't run with them and don't touch them.

No way. The feed gets terribly boring otherwise. How many of you are complaining the Zoncolan is boring now despite the pace shelling riders?

No I just think he has had a rough time and this is probably his greatest achievement.

Worse than 2011 Sestriere stage by far. At least that had a deserving winner and an emotional triumph. This had neither, and the finish just leaves me disgusted and angry. And then the GC guys beyond the top 2 ride in together like they've been on a group ride just to pour salt into the wounds.

I don't think he had to wait. I'd rather the Giro organizers had stated definitively sooner so that the chasers could get themselves organized and bring it together before Martelltal.

Forza Bongiorno he's long gone now though, and one of the top 5 least likable cyclists in the péloton is going to win and go down in the legend of this climb. A very bitter pill.
