should be an entirely different leader board this time tomorrow
good week for Matthews.. almost Sagan like however last night in pink for him

who's left that can win this race?

Quintana, Uran, Basso, Evans, someone else to come to the fore in absence of Rodriguez?

Pozzovivo?

I would say Uran,Pozzovivo,Quintana,Aru,Majka...Duarte will be probably really good in mountains, but stage 12 TT will be a really bad for him (even without wind:()
I dont believe Evans nor Basso, but I would like to see him in top five (the later one)

Quintana lost 23 seconds.

It's not a huge deal, but not great either. 23 seconds is quite a lot in a flat stage like this. The mountains have yet to come, but Quintana doesn't look really focused right now.

Quintana, Delfino and Duarte lose 23''

Aru loses 1'47''

Aru had a flat tyre already in the last 3km, from what they said on Eurosport, so I guess he won't be penalized.

Those 23 seconds on Quintana...

Ah thanks. Only provisional results, so perhaps some of the others will not lose time.

Aru loses no time on current results

Quintana - we'll see. This Movistar team is woeful - he shouldn't be out of the first 40 on a stage like this

Bouhanni _O_ Gorilla is right about him never touching the brakes  that was very close to the barriers and I doubt a lot of sprinters would have dived into that gap.

Cannondale screwed themselves over by putting too much effort in chasing the break.

They suffered a lot of damage yesterday though. Today also Ventoso went down, who has been on Nairo's side all Giro so far, so maybe he was somehow involved there as well.

that ain't good.... was a mechanical? If not- then he should be a bit more alert & have the team worked on the front to police any movements in the peloton....

23 secs is a lot looking ahead for the ITT & the transitions stages where he can potentially lose more time if mistakes like this reappear...

You are joking aren't you? He looks nothing like Amir Khan and an educated guess would put their heritage several thousand miles apart.
