AG2R bringing it back to a minute to Rolland :)

Totally hijacking the thread, but this is why I don't like rider radios. The gaps are managed to a few seconds. That is not as easy to do without radios and someone relaying the race feed.

At least he's sipping. I remember 2012 Wiggins spending 10 seconds taking a bottle, immediately throwing it away without drinking, then doing the exact same thing again immediately.

there are more tricks that can be played, like brake/saddle/derailleur adjustment

It just hit me we've gone 8 stages without a completely unfounded "Typical. Italian jury protecting local rider" comment. That's some sort of record, no?

Disappointing stagw. ulissi still there lol
Man are you difficult, there are still nearly 2 weeks left

It's a nice stage regarding stage victory and 2nd tier attacks. Scarponi out the window, lets see what happens on the last climb, then we can still say how disappointing this all was:rolleyes:

The drama is the breakaway, but the stage is shaping up the GC with Scarponi off the back.

Still could be some excitement on the ramps of the final climb

Rolland will have his gap closed on the final climb. I'm not sure about Arredondo. That is, if I'm reading the right stage map.

GC action should start now. I think as soon as they hit the last climb someone from the GC group should attack!

This irregular gradient climb coming up doesn't particularly suit Evans against the pure climbers does it

I do appreciate the 4-way split screen.

As far as Rolland v. Arredondo, 40'' right now, but there would always a disadvantage on the descent. I think he'll hold it together for a 5k climb
