imo it's too hard for Barguil. he did so-so in Pais Vasco and FW.
Cannondale haven't delivered anything in AGR and FW, except sending Mohoric to breakaway in AGR...

If the Tom Dumoulin of the Eneco Tour shows up, he could be a nice outsider for GSH.

Schleck (F that is:D) Kreuziger or Nibali from the distance ftw.

Send Fuglsang out on Redoute and go on/after Faucons. Scarponi to mark others/Nicolas and Gaspa for the sprint.

Yeh and Fuglsand will probably ride like a wuss again like he did in AGR. Maybe I'm wrong, but he seemed to be at the back of the group a lot. He should commit, only because he got great teammates behind him. Make it hard for their rivals.

Anybody knows if Uran is riding? I expect him to be very strong and keen to show it to his new team. I know he will ride for Kwiatko anyway but anything can happen on the way to Liege. :)

Nope he isn't riding. Too bad, because Uran really is good at one day races as well.

I think Dumoulin has been racing a bit too much this season. I could be wrong though.
I don't think he's strong enough yet for this.

Hmm I actually expect Dumoulin more here than in agr/fw where he already did pretty well considering those are not really his races in my opinion.

Slagter I expect a lot less. Longer hills, longer distance.. I think it's best if he helps Martin as long as possible.

 But Gilbert has won this race and Valverde has won it twice. Yes Nibali will almost certainly go from distance which always fails.
Hoping Martin can burn them all off on Cote Nicholas but I think Gilbert will prevail.

I don't think it is too hard as such. The problem guys like Barguil, Bardet etc have for these races is that they are taken too seriously by the top contenders to let go 30 sth km before arrival, but that they lack the punch to win in a match up at the end against those same contenders. To do sth meaningful, they have to anticipate, but the peloton won't allow them to.

Agreed on all accounts. Would be cool to see Dumoulin go for a long one. Slagter I love but 262 kilometers is a long way to go in the company of superstar climbers like Valverde, Nibali, and Froome.

Love LBL. Pukka the year Berzin won, with Armstrong, Rominger and Argentin in the lead group. Gewiss smashing it up that spring !.

Froome and Porte is riding too, aren't they supposed to be resting for romandie?

I think they're using this to get back some racing legs before Romandie after being away from competition for so long.

RAI will probably have its usual pre race studio so I'm guessing they're going live at 1pm.

Valverde a heavy favorite, followed by Dan Martin, Rui Costa and Gilbert. Very curious to see how Kwiatkowski will do, given his age and recent results with accompanying wear and tear.

Also curious how Vanendert will do and what the deal is with Betancur.

If the chances of a breakaway winning in Fleche Wallone are zero. What would the forum think in LBL?

Nibali will win from an attack :D...the rest of the favorites will come in soon after.

Gerrans!!!
But seriously i think he has a chance. I think Martin should be top favourite, with Valverde and Gilbert just behind. Kwiatowski could win here but I just don't feel confident that he can win (He'll continue his streak of 3rd places- 5 from PV). Hopefully Nibali makes the race exciting :)

I think this will be the Garmin show.

I am afraid Kwiatko is not ready yet but he is the one I will be cheering for.
