WTF how did that happen?

Is there a 3k rule on this stage?
Stupid sprinting from some Saxo Tinkoff and Costa could do nothing to avoid. Stupid stupid crash!

Gallopin slipped and brought Majka to a fall and Costa was next to Majka

Yes there is a 3k rule, so no "harm" for Rui

Apparently you need eyes before judging. It was clearly Galloping or some other Lotto rider crashing into Majka

From Cycling News twitter: "Replays show that the crash happened when Maxime Monfort swings across the road and hits a Tinkoff-Saxo rider."
This simply wasn't Rui Costa's race, a string of 2nd places and now this. Hopefully just a couple of bruises and he can be good for the rest of the spring, Basque Country and Ardennes.

Congrats to Betancourt by the way, not my favourite rider but he adapted perfectly to the route, took his chances when he had too and takes two stage wins. Very well deserved, no doubt.

GC standings suggest there was a 3km rule applied.

Costa gets the same time because the "Rojas must be 4th" rule prevails over whether or not the 3km rule is in effect

You may be right. I just saw the Tinkoff rider in the first replay. I'm sorry my eyes aren't that good too :)

Oldest stage winner at PN this year was 25.

Thanks for sharing, I also thought it was a great race in terms of youngsters breaking through, very refreshing to see some new faces!

yeah, that guy who said that is probably a bit biased:D:D
Mr. Vamos Colombia!!!!1!! obviously isn't ;)

Slagter indeed didn't look great today. Although having nothing left to ride for, I doubt Betancur would have done better.

Rojas missing the podium by one second, this guy is a legend.

Actually I feel bad for him.
As a sprinter, it must be quite worrying that literally no one is afraid to go to the line with you.
