quintana pulled back a lot after san luis. he's definitely not near his top form. he surprised me positively. if he wa sin good form he would not look back after an attack but ride tempo until the others were dropped. quintana is not an explosive type

I also think that if the mountain was a litter steeper it would have helped him better. This was more liker power type rider gradient. Maybe tomorrow we will have a different story.

Surprised at Uran's performance. Maybe the steeper slopes fit him better as well. We'll see.

Just watched the finish now. Kreuziger looked really strong today, he will be there in the ardennes. Contador also looked good and Quintana as well, considering it wasn't his type of climb at all. Porte looked fine and Kwiatkowski, although he did well, showed that he is not a top climber yet. If the climb had been tougher I think he would have lost some more time.

why should he get in the break? It is no chance to win the stage in the break considering that muro. Although we see such scenario before, it is still better to get a top 15 than nothing.

I think the final climb suits him well. Even though he is not as explosive as some of the other contenders, he can ride his own pace and the steep gradients suits him perfectly.

As his fan I regret he didn't try to win the stage...but once he's domestic...he's loyal one. Maybe Alberto f***ed that a little.
