This stage sucks compared to last year's, which was like a classic. The rain, the ramps, the attacks, Nibali and Sagan dropping Froome, it was great.

YAwn.

I thought he left because of an achilles injury (strain of some sort)

EDIT: plus I can't imagine there is much more to be gained by riding today's stage and the ITT. He can heal up and be ready for Catalunya on Monday

The technical final should favor Greipel.

But would love to see a fragmented peloton. Movistar could blow it to pieces with their TT-squad.

Sykhrzon, told you old man Horner wouldn't beat anybody in this race. Arthritis? Tendinitis? Break out the Ben Gay cream. LOL.:p

Gorilla for the sprint finish!

Looking on the Cannondale effort right now to get rid of Kittel it looks like Sagan is not tired at all . :D

Gotta love this bit from the live coverage:

With impeccable timing, host broadcaster RAI has lost live pictures from the race, and as Marcel Kittel gamely tries to battle back on to the main peloton, we are instead being treated to pictures of a dog awaiting the finish in Porto Sant'Elpidio.
