So so sad about Froome despite not being a fan. It shouldnt be like that.

But you cant blame the stage since it all happened before the cobbles. Wet raods always happen

Valverde doing pulls at the front of the chasing pack. Panic much?

Well he did lose any chance on a podium by crashing and losing minutes last year, so it's not exactly surprising he's worried he might lose the Tour today if he doesn't get back soon.

So what is plan B for sky.

It should be Richie Porte, but I have no idea if he's good enough, considering gastroenteritis made him miss the Giro his preparation won't be perfect.

Can he win it? Sure.
Will it be an easier win than it would have been for Froome? Unlikely.

I don't think Froome would have dropped Contador in the mountains. Would have been a battle until the last day. Was looking forward to that.

Transponders?

That would be nice to have, and it constantly ****es me off that cycling can't figure out how much better watching a race would be when you have many groups.

Whoever wins is the the best that'sfor sure but not the strongest. I mean you telling me in 08 the TDF top 10 were better than Contador? No they were'nt. Maybe just ignore me, im so frustrated all year you wait for it and as a fan of his this just sucks. The TDF is over for me now.:(

strongest also means someone who can stay on his bike.

froome crtashed. thts part of racing.

just as i say cav crashed.

plz enjoy the rest of race.

Battle it out? Froome will spank everyone in La Vuelta. Would love it as if Froome wins and beats Quintana in process he will be the best of year as in the strongest. He will prove that if he wins it as Quintana is on Contador's level and above Nibali. It will be a trade off as Quintana will have Giro in legs and Froome would have come off injury.

Quintana will be absolutely fine having ridden the Giro.. the fatigue from the Giro won't affect it.

Contador has been much better then Froome so far this year, and if he wins the Tour not even a vuelta win would make Froome the stronger of the two this year.

Dowsett was being interviewed last night and was saying Froome would have won a lot more but cannot handle a bike.

A pretty serious weakness if you ask me which compounds the error of Sky in not taking a plan B.

Porte for top ten finish? No chance !

Hopefully Froome's injuries aren't too bad and he can come back for a great battle at the Vuelta with Quintana.

As for Sky their plan is now obvious. Ritchie Porte only 2
Seconds down.

Lots of action still to go here I think. I hope nobody else loses the Tour here, especially from my financial point of view Contador.
