No there's not the British GP or Wimbledon final today? ;) events that would usually dwarf cycling.

Those sports don't really compete with each other in terms of live audiences (different story for TV. I expect wimbly>GP>TDF)

Porte might be screwed, i'm sure some teams will ride on the next hill. Also the break is about to get caught.

Well, but you don't even see crowds like that in some random town in France or Italy.
Maybe its when these things are in your own back-yard you always think you'll go next year but never do. Might be a while before the Tour goes back through Yorkshire no matter how successful it is.

Also, would you rather be watching the Tour or be working down tut mill? ;)

Looked up the viewer stats. F1 > the other two. The rest depends on the round and stage.

And of course in the UK Wimbledon is top, but that's one country.

Porte has got to be 2 mins down at least

Sky not concerned though, or at least keeping Froome up front is more important. Position fights for the next 20k apparently.

The catch is nearly upon us, right at the start of Holme Moss. Perfect timing for a launch pad for a second more serious break to form with a bit of luck.
