The last time Roman Kreuziger won a 1 week race the human race was in the Middle Ages...

The whole career in Top Teams and never been able to ride consistently.

We have to look at last year, when he rode really well.

I don't see how Froome is going to lose this race.

Nibali have to attack on stage 3 or 4 if he wants to win it.

I'm not so sure. Oman might be close enough to Europe that his geographical kryptonite kicks in.
You do realize where the picture is from?

I'm curious how hard Froome will race now that the Wiggins shadow is starting to rise.

Winning nothing till July combined with few successes of Wiggins may prove lethal to his Sky leadership role, at least leaving open room for discussions and conflicts.

not really.
Froome is the undisputed leader at Sky now. The only thing that can change that is if Wiggo wins EVERY race he enters + a broken collarbone on Froome the 30th June :p

That's common sense :D but think at a fueled Wiggo, with few wins and a Froome racing softly with no wins. Anything can happen , demanding leadership , etc. And don't forget he is a Sir lol

I think Froome has to race seriously and win a few time to be sure Wiggo mouth stays put.

So i would put few $ on Froome for this race.

I am curious to see how Konig will ride. He could be in the mix with Froome, Henao, Rodriguez, Kreuziger ;) Not sure about Nibali; he might be too distracted as his wife is expected to give birth next week.

Last year winning everything in site was important for Froome to show he deserved to lead Sky at the Tour and most other races. He might not care as much to win it all this year, and they've said he will ease into 2014.

Then again he could probably win with limited effort, so might decided "what the hell, might as well win it."

I'm not sure about his form, but with no time trials, J-Rod could do very well.

Would be awesome if he could repeat his victory on Green Mountain.

Based on his Mallorca results, there is no way he will be anywhere near the front. His season is very focused on peaking in July for the Tour and he is not one of the riders that are solid year round.

Not saying Nibali will be up there in Oman, but not solid all year around? Really?
I think (quite sure) that was regarding König (hint: Mallorca results).

Contador should've been here.
But it's probably a matter of cutting the fast rather than meeting with the July rivals for him.

Ya but wasn't that the stage where Contador went Berserk? I doubt the same will happen this yeaer:eek:
Impey and Stybar were also in the reduced group that came in at 4'. So if it isn't raced too aggressively a puncheur can win this.
