No Trentin seems very strage to me, i can understand the Pozzazo thing but Trentin knows how to win races.

I think Trentin peaked for the TdF - since ENECO his results have been dropping off

and he's already raced 12K km this season so he may need resting.

Trentin races A LOT during a season. Last year two GTs and this year again 80 race days. I can understand that he needs some rest now. Sad, cause this course would've suited him.

For me I would have dropped Millar and had Thwaites in or even Moses on stand by, but no. Good old BC bum slapping Millar right until the end.

He has had a gash season, is a cr@p road captain, but lets give him one final swangsong.

Its a course that suits Thwaites or Moses too

Agree 100%.
Millar has done nothing this year and I can only assume Cameron put pressure on BC to select Millar to secure more Scottish no votes in the referendum. Certainly not based on performance.
Is there not enough experience in that squad to sort themselves without needing Millar as a road captain? If it was essential to explain to these guys how to race he could have done it sat in the car.

I'm very interested in how Colbrelli will do in this race. I think he'll be a bit slower than Gerrans in a sprint though if it comes to a sprint between those two.
