Betancur to do fastest split time from summit to finish

Faster then Tony? No way, he would have to weigh at least...hold on a sec...*goes and checks current picture of Betancur*...Never mind.

After this stage, GC will look similar to this:

1. Alberto Contador
2. Alejandro Valverde
3. Christopher Froome
4. Nairo Quintana
5. Rigoberto Urán
6. Robert Gesink
7. Purito Rodriguéz
8. Winner Anacona
9. Fabio Aru
10. Warren Barguil

No way Gesink is passing Purito in GC. The TT is quite hard, and Gesink will lose quite a lot of time in the first part (based on his climbing abilities during a TT).

The climb is nothing extraordinary, really. The majority of the climb has gradients under 5%, and only ramps up significantly for two or so kilometers. Purito will be ahead there, but don't you think that Gesink has an advantage over Purito in the remaining 25,5km's?

Purito will also distance Gesink on the (technical part of the) descent.

Based on the previous post of Coat-O, the first 20 km are uphill and downhill. Giving the descender qualities of Purito, i doubt he will lose time there on Gesink (rather winning).

So then there are 18 km left for Gesink to make up 49 seconds. Rather difficult to make up for Gesink imo.
