I found it funny that people were criticising Contador and his team without knowing the full story. It sounds like Froome crashed and then the pace was increased on the subsequent climb and that is where Froome dropped off. I can't see anything wrong with those tactics, if it is the case.

Thats what i heard of aswell which is why i said if true they have every right to ride. He was involved in a crash with Santomorita so he could have been took down.

Man it is making me become less of a fan i know sounds wrong but i can't support a guy who i have to check every day is in the bunch.

LOL, I know what you mean. I am acquaintances with Vande Velde, and following his career was like checking the daily hospital records.

I know man it is depressing how can 2013 be almost perfect with no crashes yet 2014 he is crashing all the time?. I think he did crash before a stage in the TDF'13 but that was it.

Wsn't it an OGE rider who took Froome down in the TDF? Not saying it is Santomorita for sure it could be Froome but im sure this is 2nd OGE rider

1. What did Bouhanni do yesterday to get penalised?

2. Froome crashes way more than the average. Too much looking at his stem rather than looking at what is happening ahead of him? + crab style slows down reaction time?

Re: Bohanni, just think of Cavendish and you'll get the answer. Re: Froome, check his own thread.

Btw, are they really going to finish in the Paseo Parque de Fuensanta?

If they do, that will be one of the best finishes of the whole year, in terms of scenery.

Not really. They finish in the Carretera de Fuensanta, which is as scenic as the Paseo del Parque de Fuensanta :D

I can't get why they don't do the last loop in the opposite direction to have the last KOM closer to the finish

Movistar can go full gas to try and drop Froome and use going for stage win as an excuse.

It's common in cycling that this happens but it's even more common for teams to deny it and find an excuse postrace

Couldn't Sky put some sort of mirror on Froome's
stem - that way he could see what was coming up
and avoid more crashes. ;)

Lol. Or those mirror plugs for the bar tape.

Ah thx. Because on strava, the finish was in the middle of Paseo del Parque.

Will be a interesting final anyway.

Gehavende Froome
Er druppelt meer nieuws binnen over de wonden van Chris Froome: de Brit zou gehavend zijn aan zijn rechterheup en -elleboog.

In English:

Froome got injuries to his right hip and elbow. No more specific damage though.
