maybe he wants to be underdog for the worlds :)

but seriously, clearly he's in the training mode and he will be trying something in the second, or if he doesn't withdraw(which might not happen if he rides two weeks in training mode), then in third week he will want to test his form for world, and also it might very easily happen he will not get into the form till the end of year

Relax, last time we saw him riding in the back of peloton he won quite easily. :D

He attacked like mad that day, so it was a bit different. Great racing that was. He should have gone for Québec and Montréal this year as well.

I was just thinking whether he would go there if he finish here after second week. Those races suits him best but travelling is probably too much for him and he does not have to chase the points for Cannondale anymore, so I doubt.

Will Sagan contest today, or is he trying to lull his competitors? Interesting what Canondale is about to come up with.

You can't enter a race during the period of one that you were already entered, so if he does two weeks here, he can't start any races until the Vuelta finishes.

You can occasionally get special dispensation, for example Cavendish got to ride the Tour of Britain a couple of years ago after crashing out of the Vuelta in week 1, because the Tour of Britain started the day the Vuelta finished and he had already been out of racing for two weeks at that point. If Sagan crashed out now, maybe he could get that dispensation. If he is in the race for two weeks, he more than likely wouldn't.
