Put into context, yesterday he did pretty well without a team pretty much and ok today he didn't do that well, but still better than his two rivals here, so it's hardly a disaster given he was unsure of his form coming into it.

That hasn't been the case this year (With the exception of that single Ruta del Sol-stage, that is his highpoint). I also think Tour de Romandie is a race he targets to some extent every year. Being in pole position coming into the queen stage, Froome still managed to lose.DBotero said:Cance > TheRest said:I cannot seriously see how you're considering their Romandie results a good sign? Both were beaten by Pinot on the climb and Froome didn't even manage top 10 in the time trial... My belief in AC's chances in the Tour has grown after this Tour de RomandieDBotero said:Arredondo said:Froome and Quintana both under par.
This should be a great Tour. Vamos Alberto y Purito !!![]()
Froome and Quintana will be ready, this was training ride for them.No chance for Contador really, not with Giro in his legs.
After Nibali's TDF show last year,Contador and Froome impressive recovery for Vuelta,i learned that these races doesn't tell the all story anymore. They can get in top shape really fast these days.
