Poels might even be better in terms of helping Froome than Thomas.

Same way of riding and both look like humanoid crane flies. I bet they will share the same progam next year.

Poels is a very good climber but he does not have consistency in a GT tour. For every 2 days he is up there climbing he will be missing another day .Thomas is more consistent. However Froome will ahve othere climbers ot help including (or especially) Landa

Landa? What the hell are you taling about? They will not even race one race together.

Says who? If you are thinking that Landa will be leading multiple one week races before the Giro then I think you're in for a surprise. He can't time trial and Froome, Thomas and Kwiatkowski are probably all better than him for the vast majority of 1 week races.

Landa has already said that he wants to ride the Olympics road race and that the Spanish coach says the riders must be at the Tour in order to gain selection. There's every chance he will ride the Tour as domestique for Froome after leading at the Giro. At his best he's on a different level to any other Sky climber with the exception of Froome himself. Neither Thomas or Poels would be capable of the type of rides that Porte has done for Froome for example in recent years.

Viviani makes it ten for the year, guess where Sagan was?

That was Viviani's 8th win of the season. I think he was including the Romandie TTT as a 9th. Still, a strong season for him and what a great idea by Vaughters not to sign him (take him across from Cannondale).

The bike cams were a nice touch, although I can't imagine Kittel would have enjoyed the footage: every other minute we saw him grimacing and barely able to hold the wheel in front of him.

I am a sucker for a bike cam. Just wish that when they did it they had onscreen captions to say who bike you are watching from.

Its a little bit of a gimmick and doesnt really add anything to meaningless races like Abu Dhabi. I did really enjoy them in the big races though and the feeling of atmosphere you get from they on stages like Alpe dHuez add something that cant be properly captured on TV cameras.
