Congrats Hermans. Always nice to see an attacker winning. The last km seemed neverending with camera angle making it look like peloton was much closer to Hermans than it actually was.

Leukemans's days of placements are over.
Gilbert's shape seems good.
Matthews will win sprint for 6th in AGR.
I thought GVA was participating.
Thomas Voeckler barely tried to get on camera.

This should have been solved in the other thread :p

Matthews is not strong enough to go with Gilbert/Valverde/Kwiatkowski on the Cauberg.

He never was strong enough, but I wouldn't be surprised if he made that last step up.

Fully deserved win for Hermans, one of the most underestimated super-helpers in the peloton.
Greenedge going Sky. Didn't work, obviously.

Damn it I couldn't watch it. Last 7km were enjoyable though.
If only all the Ardennes were so exciting.

Oh, come on guys, this race was so because it doesnt really matters at all. The three Ardennes coming will be more disputed and we will see the aces fighting for the win.

Great win by Hermans and smart riding by Gilbert towards the finish to keep in touch with Hermans just in case he was chased down but interrupting the chase and soft pedaling when he realized Hermans had a chance to stay away. Great podium for the team.

*** imo. The majority of the riders in the peloton would love to win the Brabantse Pijl. It does matter. Matthews didn't let his team cycle so hard and determined because he doesn't care about this race.
