Judging on the ticker the peloton is already pretty decimated, partly due to crashes, partly to the pace of Quick-Step.

I cant help feeling these Flandrian races nowadays are getting ridiculous with the amount of traffic furniture and the speed and number of riders. Its more like a demolition derby than a bike race, with hospitalizations commonplace. They should severely resrict the number of riders in these sort of races to a lot less than the current amount. About 170 riders are in this race, should be more like 100 max imo. Dont suppose it will happen tho coz rider safety is a long way down the list
