Oh ghod, can this guy stop winning already
Don't worry, he'll crack in the Giro and hopefully the "Richie is a GC contender" hype train will be derailed for good.
I'm not too worried about the Giro (but it would be lovely to see Porte crack) I am just tired of seeing Sky winning day after day after day

Will Porte ever lose a race again? Only time will tell. Everyone falls before the powers of Lil Richie atm

I quiet like Porte hes got a bit about him, sky was what he needed in terms of focus, do reckon he has one bad day in giro but when it comes is the question would prefer him over another Contador win.

Nieve and Sebastian Henao 12:23 behind Porte...

Konig finished close to Porte so I guess Nieve and Henao did work earlier in the stage.

Doesn't sound like it according to the Sky report. Nieve suffers from pollen at this time of year. Not sure about Seb Henao.

EDIT - Watching the highlights on Rai and it showed they were both dropped by Siutsou on the penultimate climb. Only looked to be 20 riders left in the group at the time though, so presumably they just rolled in, saving their legs for tomorrow.

SIUTSOU was an incredible skybot today. They hardly needed a train.
Pozzovivo was okay until the last climb - shame - he doen't like the heat.
Landa made the best of the absence of Aru.

I guess this would be different on a cold rainy day.

Siutsou was also incredible on the first mountain stage of Trentino in 2013 (won the stage). Funny how it works like that.

Wow, that attack was insane.
Wonder if that's jus a really high base or did Porte peak oo early (he looks like that since January so the former is my be)

Wow, that was impressive. Landa also looked strong and I'm really happy for Cunego but what a ride by Siutsou, really impressive.
Is Pozzovivo finally peaking for the Giro d'Italia and not for the Giro del Trentino? :D

König said that before stage designated last two men with Porte were Nieve and Henao. They both soon fall back though. Interesting.

there you can see a tactical genius in Sky, they dont have form to go deep but he puts them as the last men
