Thanks to Vanmarcke being a boss Standard actually has a chance as Etixxx can't work him over with that danger behind. :p

Surely Stannard will be as fresh as he hoped to be at this stage? I just don't don't think he'll be able to get away from Boonen or Terpstra though, he'll fight on regardless

He has to attack, its simple, but after they will be more spend:cool:

It's Etixx's race to lose, but if they prioritize Boonen too much, they just might do that.

When Stannard goes, and if Boonen can't, one will stay with TB and one will go up. Stannard could beat Vandenbergh in a sprint, maybe...

That might be the best scenario for Stannard.

Didn't say it would happen, just that those are the dominoes that Stannard needs to fall.

Also, Boonen has had more bonks in his older age... just saying

Obvi, Boonen is the favorite.

Tbf tho, I wouldn't say Etixx should just rely on a sprint. Boonen's clearly faster than Stannard but he's been working for the last 30km, while Stannard's been riding on the wheels. Etixx really need to start attacking Stannard with 5km left
