Boom looked great yesterday. He's surely a top contender for PR.
Kristoff said he prefers RVV to PR but in this kind of shape he's going to be hard to drop.

But I sense a disturbance in the force.
Pippo to end Italy's drought in Monuments after almost 7 years.

I'm hoping for 1-2 finish from Boom and Gaudin.

Epic long range attack from Gaudin who will be joined by Boom when he attacks form the peloton.

The two of them ride together till the finish where Boom will out sprint Gaudin.

After seeing Boom yesterday, he is - for me at least - the top favourite no doubt. If it rains he will win by 6 minutes probably and if it doesn't it's gonna be a little closer.

Agreed, finally got some form after anonymity so far this season.

He had form already in PN (30th as total non climber) and was very good on his way in dwars door vlaanderen. He was probably the strongest man in that race until he fell. Then he fell again in E3 Prijs and had to abandon also for GW... so it's logical he was anonymous.

Rain or no rain, Kristoff will take this. Who is going to distance him? Form man in the race. Can't go past him.

Yep, it certainly looks like Kristoff is the man to beat. Degenkolb is definitely a threat though if it comes down to a sprint. If not, I think it will be won similarly to last year, with one or two riders jumping from a big group late on and nobody taking responsibility to chase them down. If that scenario happens, hopefully it won't be Wiggins who gets clear.

One of them that will get away will be Kristoff because he isn't scared to attack. If Greipel rides like he did yesterday then he's a chance. We know he'll go on the attack as well although his attacks were to get over the climbs with the leaders so he doesn't really need to attack, but he has been holding back for the classics so I think he'll be attacking.

Yeah, the good thing with Kristoff is - a bit like Cancellara at his peak - he will take responsibility to chase down breaks himself, because he's so confident in his finishing power. I've been envisaging the nightmare scenario when Wiggins tries a diesel attack with 10km to go - everyone looks around for a bit, Wiggins gets a 10 second and time trials away from the bunch for the win.

Stybar wants this bad. But without Fab and Tom he will be marked.
I know some will not wish for rain and strong winds but its great to watch and makes things unpredictable.

BMC looked strong yesterday "TOF" I think Greg Van Avermaet is my tip for the win.
