Fingers crossed. Both for the weather and the racing itself

The weather is getting worse in the Apennines. That's my only concern, since it seems the showdown is guaranteed.

Think it'll be between Contador and Quintana. Quintana looked good today, and should be in better shape than Contador. Contador will maybe suffer a little from his crash today also.

Purito, Poels and Uran 3rd-5th.

Snow is about can't see how they go to the top of the final climb or take on any major downhills

Poels will crack for sure and I don't think Purito is in good enough shape.

Contador, Quintana, Pozzovivo and Uran for me.

Don't think we will see action before the very end unfortunately.

Hopefully Vuillermoz can hang on.

There has to be action before the very end because Contador has to take time on Poels. He can't just do a last km attack.

Poels to narrowly cling on to the blue jersey and take it home on tuesday.

If it's cold it is good for guys like Pinot and Quintana, how good is Uan in those conditions? He wasnt that great in the Gavia-Stelvio stage.

Pinot seems to be in very good shape but the question is how will will cope with bad weather. Contador will try to attack earlier. First because he needs to take time on Poels (and Uran before TT), second because I doubt Tinkoff will force Kreuziger to set the pace, they will try to keep him in GC contention like last year.

Snowy weather should favor this guy:

His form doesn't look great but would be fun to see him trying at least.

The Shark may feel home in cold, wet conditions, but I don't think he's up to it. I'm expecting the earliest GC action from 5km to go, but with Contador you never ******** know

Nibali also dropped on the Crispiero yesterday, so he definitely will attack before the big guns will.

Quintana isn't good in cold, Uran and Purito are not good in the cold (they are in rainy conditions however), Contador doesn't look really good this week. Should be an interesting stage.
