Basically no Col de Champs because of a bad descent. We get Allos into Pra-Loup then. Haven't looked at the map to see if we keep Cayolle that way.

Glandon guaranteed. Note that Glandon is mentioned instead of Croix-de-Fer. He also mentions that it'll go above 2000 m more than once (Galibier, Allos , Tourmalet at least).

Lacets de Montvernier is the much-rumoured Chaussy confirmed then. Regarding the Pyrenees PDB and A-PSM are both reconfirmed. No mention of Cauterets however.

theoretically, they can climb Champs from east before Allos. In any case, if Allos is in, Cayolle is not.

Dunno how reliable it is, but...
- Allos before Pra Loup (edit: this is just hinted actually)
- Lacets de Montvernier before St.Jean de Maurienne

- "On a fait attention à ne pas être excessif, on a des étapes de montagne d'une difficulté modérée mais on a pas mal d'arrivées au sommet..."

I don't mind the bolded that much. The two others are bad though, especially the last one

well, the bolded is bad if compared to Chaussy.
I'm starting to picture in my mind sth like the worst route ever, of any GT. The new benchmark for all the crap designs. Hope tomorrow I'll get surprised. :(

This is what I've came up with the routes on the map and the distance for each stage:

Tarbes - La Pierre Saint Martin (Unipublic style)
La Pierre Saint Martin (HC)

Pau - Cauterets
Aspin (1C)
Tourmalet (HC)

Lannemezan - Plateau de Beille
Portet d'Aspet (2C)
Port (2C)
Soulombrie (2C)
Plateau de Beille (HC)

Rodez - Mende
2C or 1C climb somewhere (very hard to know)
Montée Jalabert (2C)

Mende - Valence (a real disappointment...)
Escrinet (2C)

Bourg-de-Péage - Gap (...)
Cabre (2C)
Manse (once ****ing again... --' 2C)

Digne - Pra Loup
Champs (HC)
Allos (1C)
Pra Loup (2C)

Gap - Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
Moissière (i really hope it's in, it fits the distance - 1C)
Ornon (2C)
Glandon (HC)

Saint Jean de Maurienne - La Toussuire
Chaussy from Montvernier (1C)
Saint-François-Longchamp (descent by Montgellafrey - 1C)
Croix de Fer (HC)
Mollard (2C)
La Toussuire (1C)

Modane - L'Alpe d'Huez (the 2011 remake --')
Télégraphe (1C)
Galibier (HC)
L'Alpe d'Huez (HC)

26 climbs, 11 2C, 7 1C, 8 HC. Galibier being the highest summit.

It easily could. Just do the easy loop of Cayolle-Champs-Allos.

That's 200km.

Not that it will happen.

I still refuse to believe there are only 13 km's of ITT ... even though I am increasingly worried.

It can't be surely.

Did the ASO recieve a huge donation from the columbian cycling federation under the table or something ? :D

the lenght is actually compatible with Champs - Cayolle combo... Linkinito, how did you make Champs - Allos fit in there?
