I don't think that's a given. Dennis is not far off an hour record challenge, so he's in top form. Finished 2nd to Porte in a high quality tt field the other week.
If they were on opposing teams, you would say that on paper Evans has more punch, and would use that to advantage (i.e. time bonuses) on the finish. That's on
paper. The way that Dennis flew past everyone to take his stage should give us good cause to reconsider that proposition.
I also reckon they'll ride to conserve their respective positions; I'd love to see Evans win, but there is a certain 'changing of the guard' poetry to a Dennis-Evans 1-2.
