Aruuuuu

Only 3 seconds difference.

Aru to win the Vuelta. In miburos logic this is ridiculous. Aru suddenly a TT rider!

He is not a TT rider by any means. He targeted this race and didn't ride the Tour. That makes all the difference.
He did look decent on the bike but TT will never be his strenght

You just have to respect Aru's grinta and ability to time his efforts and empty himself completely. Go get that GT-win, Fabio!
Also the fact that he has clearly put loads of work in. He had a great position on the bike and held it throughout the whole stage. Not often you see climbers put in the hours to get so aero. Deserves the result today.

Compare with Rodriguez and Majka...

Well Purito you disappoint yet again :( He'll retire having never won a GT but a grand rider all the same.
He'll retire the biggest underacheiver in cycling history.

Considering how his career was evolving until 2010 (31 yold), he can be satisfied.

Indeed. When he has a target(this time time gaps in his ear) he can cross his borders.

No way Dumoulin will be able to hold off Aru and Astana.

Aru seems to be able to ride in the red zone for incredibly long time.

Yes, Aru can definitely suffer, and he can suffer alone. Purito needs the benchmark of other riders.

That's what Azevedo said last year. That Purito finishes TTs fresh, could do another one right away.
He's too afraid of blowing up.
