haha so hilarious seeing some cheer for dumoulin knowing they were disgusted with sky.

Purito is done, another failure for him, nice.

Valverde will podium the timetrial today. maybe even better than Bodnar
He's an underrated time triallist. Always puts in a decent performance when he is suitably motivated. Probably because his normal riding position is so low, it doesn't take much effort to swith to his TT bike.

Majka really looks awful on his bike.
Pretty unprofessional by both him and Purito to have such a poor position on the bike. It's all well and good sprinting to gain 10 seconds on a MTF, but perhaps would have been better to spend a bit more time training for TTs, so you don't lose 4 or 5 minutes on them :(
Majka is not a bad time trialist. 9th on the flat TdS route indicates that. Mind you, it's 2 months since his last time trial (in the Tour) - he lacks rythm

Quintana is very good. Just a pity that he lost so much time in the Andorra stage

Don't agree. That time trial wasn't flat, it was mostly up or down. Aerodynamics weren't so important; his position is awful.

LMAO Dumoulin, the best ITT and the best in uphill sprints. This is even better than when horner won.

You are well aware that its a fine balance between feeling comfortable and being aerodynamic, right?

Because he didn't train. He looked very good in Giro 2014 on the flat part. Put minutes there into all other contenders. Didn't really train TT since then

Exactly, which is why it's so important to practice and get used to 'uncomfortable' positions; so that you can sustain them for longer periods. Do you think Tony Martin, Dumoulin or Wiggins were born being able to maintain that position?
