imo very disappointing by froome.

Why? Difficult to say how good this time is imo.

Pinot already 39 seconds back.

A very good time considering the riders he's put time into, however it's still beatable if it doesn't rain.

11 seconds on ALAPHILIPPE, 24 seconds on Rosa, 30 seconds on Navarro isnt that impressive tbh, decent ride but nothing special, Contador will have no problem beating that if it doesnt start raining maybe even richie aswell

11:34 for Froome, it seems. Although all the different team accounts are reporting 11:49, the Dauphiné account insists on 11:34

Then Alberto won't win ;)

It's typical they seem to get every other rider correct, but the one rider we need the time for a benchmark later is wrong apparently

The live ticker still shows 11:49 for Froome

11.34 is very good for Froome, but not impossible to beat by Porte and possibly Contador. Let's see.

Yeah, that's what the live ticker says, but the Dauphiné twitter account says 11:34. It's not even a logical error, I mean 11:39 and 11:49 I could understand

Reichenbach 17th! What a ride from the young man, surely now he should be looking to lead the team, because the talent is there and he's looking better than his leader pinot. What a rider. What a man.

It would be nice no rain now, but...

Anyway we talk abot and uphill, no risk to take, no big influence of the rain...

Wheels can slip/lose traction when going up steep inclines

This. I always find it easier on double digit gradients when it's dry

What is the maximun gradient?? I dont think in 15 % rain is a problem that way.. some people even say that wet roads are better for speed...

Of course with rain is not good to ride always, but in a 12 min ride with no risk, if it is not a heavy rain it is not a big problem. Nobody cant say: I could have done a min better in dry conditions... 10 secondswith light rain, I dont know, maybe.

It's a bit worrying if a race of this size can't get their timings right, 15 seconds is quite a big difference for this stage..
