Renshaw was thrown out of the TDF a couple of years ago for headbutting, but this was way worse imo.

No it wasn't! Renshaws headbutting in that finish was ALOT worse than the soft stuff today

It really wasn't.

0:30 onwards. Renshaw's was worse, but not much, and at the end of the day, that sprint became super dangerous in the end, and definitely needs to be looked at
I strongly disagree. Renshaw is hitting with his head only, and that's not going to cause a crash. Bouhanni leaned in on Kristoff with all of his weight, as if trying to make him crash.

Sorry guys but this bouhanni deserves to fall badly and break some bone

And you should consider stopping your anti-french behavior it's starting to be really boring in each posts I read from you. In this one Im sorry but its almost 50/50. Those last kms were very nervous and Katusha/Cofidis leadouts merged. For once Bouhanni just defended himself. And for those who don't remember : during Paris Nice, even in France, he got Dsq when he punched Matthews in the barriers.

Cycling at its worst, really. A stage nobody wants to watch, with a pointless break. Tune in for the last kilometres and all you get are a bunch of jocks yelling and headbutting each other. Then a guy whom nobody likes, who doesn't even like cycling, wins.

Next!

Renshaw deliberately blocked Farrar in that sprint. He wasn't DQ'ed just for headbutting.

wow so much hatred agains Bouhanni ! so Portugal11, KGB and others just think the way sprints should go is if you get pushed to the side by other guys you just take it ? the Cofidis and the Katusha gave us a brawl of a finish, pushing each other away, etc...It was scary, but let's not just go with "profiling" here guys, the Katushas started shoving the Cofidis aside like the big bullies they are and there was some counter shoving... Throw them all out or none.

And as Clasicomano said, Cavendish was far more dangerous than Bouhanni and didn't get the same flack...

It wasnt me who said that, and Cavendish got massive amounts of flack. And the rest of your post is wrong as well, as you can see Kristoff was only riding next to Bouhanni who in return immidiately started headbutting him to try and make him crash.

Sorry I mistook the Dumoulin picture of your avatar for the similar one of that poster. EDIT : It was Jens Attacks' post I was referring to. And for the bold part, you forget to mention the moments where Bouhanni throws a spanner in Kristoff's wheel ! Come on one second "try and make him crash"... sure.. and take his girlfriend too.

Once the Katusha trains shoves Laporte away from the wheel of his own teammate Soupe you know you are in for a brawl.. In the peloton you fight shoulder to shoulder to get in someone's wheel, you don't show yourself into the middle of a train, otherwise it becomes a tug of war game, not a sprint.

For what? That was a clean sprint.
Are you serious? He was literally boxing with Kristoff to try to throw him off his own leadout.

we're in France though so no disqualification to expect...

one day he's gonna cause a real mess in a sprint...

Dude, Paris Nice this year ??? Try to at least follow the races before going all "french organisers protect french riders, gna gna gna!"

You are obsessed to find a french that could win le tour but sadly that will not happen because pinot still hasn't quality to win it and i don't know if he ever will win it. And this bouhanni is a danger for other riders, his brain has a size of a peanut.

Centimeters from hitting the backwheel of the rider in front of him. Luckily nothing happened as it would have caused a major crash.

Worst part of Bouhanni's victory will be Cofidis messing up with green jersey again. Green shorts... :p

Exactly. Both teams wrestled each other, but Katusha started it.

Quite funny how despite that Kristoff won the 'boxing match' for position, when it came to the sprint he launched backwards

Certainly a much better sprint to watch than when Kittel is delivered and he gaps the bunch.

Why do you assume that "we" are obsessed with it ? I don't even care. I root for Pinot because he has a great potential and he is very talented. Moreover, despite his lack of quality, he improved a lot in TT, which makes him more complete than he was before. If he wins it, it would be really happy but Im not only rooting for french riders tbh. Im watching cycling for the beauty of the sport itself not because of any patriotism. A french winning Le Tour won't make any difference in my everyday life.
Bouhanni is a good rider regarding sprints. Otherwise he seems to be a fool and got zero ability to stay in his bike in harder conditions. Thats what I think about him. But you have to remain fair, I don't really like him but he deserves that one imo.

Yeah, that move was dangerous and if you do something like that you'll get a reeaction from the other team.
That said, Nacer is a bit crazy, one time Greipel called him out for doing a dangerous move in a sprint and Nacer challenged him to a fist fight (the whole thing happened aftterwards in a hotel). Greipel knew that he has a legit boxing background and declined the offer.

No need for such insinuations. In Paris-Nice they relegating him for playing elbows with Matthews.
