Because Bouhanni does this kind of thing very often, and it's only a matter of time before he brings down half the peloton as a result. Kristoff was as much to blame here and is right not to complain himself; but Bouhanni gets into these situations all the time, and it's incredibly unsafe - exactly the kind of thing that the rules are there to prevent.

Who was the ag2r rider who nearly went down under a shoulder barge from a DiDa rider at the flamme rouge? Great bike handling to stay up
Froome pretty wobbly at the end also.
Centimeters from hitting the backwheel of the rider in front of him. Luckily nothing happened as it would have caused a major crash.

What km was this?

Whether we'll see the Tour teaser depends on Froome's intentions.
He hasn't been bothered with minor goals so far this season. Everything was subordinated to his summer goals.
And Thomas is riding TdS, it appears. Contador will be relieved.

Thats strange.

In 2012-13 Sky acted like its impossible to do well in the tour without winning every single race before. This was one of those marginal gains no one had ever considered before.

Now they are abandoning it?

Wiggo, in 2012 said he wanted to win and carry the leaders jersey in the previous races, to get used to the stress and get the team work on controlling a race

I think they got the experience now :p
Froome won Herald Sun (ok ok :D ), Henao 2nd TDU, Thomas won Algarve and Paris-Nice, Poels won Valenciana, Henao 2nd Pais Vasco, Roche 2nd Yorkshire, Froome won the stage in Romandie, and we'll see how he'll go this week. being a bit late with the form is very good for the 3rd week.

Bouhanni is at the point where someone could start a fight with him. Hit him ten times and then after Nacer hits back one time everyone will point the finger to him

Trentin was quite right to tweet that the GC guys and teams being at the front makes things more dangerous.
Rowe got back at him, but obviously he didn't see Froome nearly causing a mass pile-up.

Everybody here knows I really dislike Bouhanni for being a careless simpleton and a bimbo on the road, but today he did nothing we haven't seen others do before and get away with without fan complaints. Standard sprinting behaviour.

Completely agree. What the heck was he even doing there? He wouldn't be too happy if for some strange reason the sprinters teams all rushed to the front at the start of a climb and left him out of position... he's probably go crazy.

And who was the near Froome-crash caused by? A Katusha rider headbutting an Orica (?) rider into Froome. Probably the most dangerous move of all we've seen today.

Again the Dawg getting a boot in the nuts for being a bike racer when it wasn't his fault, blame the rider 2 to his left for trying to stick the head into a rider beside the dawg...The Dawg done well not to hit the ground

Absolutely and Sky are taking it waaay too far today. Froome also almost causing crashes in the last 3km because they so neccesarily had to lead the bunch even after they passed the 3k banner. Crazy stuff.

I'm not blaming Froome for possibly causing a crash, but I blame Sly for still being at the front with 1.5km to go.

It was insane. Astana and Tinkoff drifted back after they'd reached 3k to go. Sky wanted to pull till the flamme rouge or what? Froome wobbled twice and could have taken down half the peloton. He had no business there.

To be fair, Valgren was still pulling. But Contador went backwards. :p

thats bike racing

I don't think it is in this case. The 3km rule is here to avoid everybody going for the safest positions. I mean there was no point to keep going crazy after the 3km mark other than creating even more tension and nervosity.
