Have any of the smart people on here asked them selves the question that maybe Landa's gain in TT is his loss in climbing ??
The loss in climbing which he displayed in Trentino and on that steep Pays Basque finish ?

Does it look like he's much heavier than last year to you?

lol Nibali slower than Landa. What a joke
The true joke is that Nibali won 3 gt's.
Andy Hampsten's Giro win is more worth than any of Nibali's gt achievements!

Zakarin was losing time anyway, no idea why his name was being thrown out like he was the damn next Jan Ullrich.

to be honest I did not expected so much as today from him, A little pitty we won´t know how he really was

and Landa that is another story just unbelieveable

The great thing is that the hypocritical part of anglo-media that like to bash Southern European riders for this kind of performances can't say anything about Landa as he is riding for Team Sky :p

Landa gains 1.52 on Uran. WOW!

Uran is slower than Pirazzi mate. Landa has had a great day but it's hardly Ullrich stuff, the conditions have played a big part, but any doping insinuating is allowed on here it seems

Wish it was a dry TT. Anyway, some GC gaps, but other than Lands doing amazing and great ride by Amador (who I don't see as GC contender and think he will lose time), no major GC shakeup

Tbf it's to be expected that Landa would be a level above his ability last year, given that he's a year older, more experienced, and has a dedicated team behind him.

However, this is too big an improvement in time trialling, and can only be explained by a loss in climbing ability. But he could easily beat his rivals here with half his ability from last year on the climbs. The real test would be against Froome Contador and Quintana, and that's not gonna happen here in Italy.
