Yep, he's going to lose the Vuelta here. Great job by the organizers. Vuelta has always been a race where time gaps are small because the way the stages are designed.

The poor organization is the number one reason the Vuelta is considered the least prestigious GT.

The Vuelta is already done on the first day.

Good ride from Sky. I reckon Froome will fade in the third week so it will be interesting to see if he can build up a sufficient lead before then in the first two weeks. I fancy someone outside of the big 3 winning though.
