Lampre gets worse every year. It's really something how they always miss these moves. I'd bet the farm they're not even chasing, even though both Meintjes and Costa were caught behind. Last time the camera panned through the third group, they were scattered all over with smiles on their faces. They must enjoy being so bad.

Yeah, sort of. I mean they're not a team in the true sense of the word. They don't have a block, they don't protect their leaders, it's free-for-all. Tactics wise, they're inept. They have to rely on individuality and their riders' raw power to win. When they don't behave as a team in a team sport, they are set to fail in conditions like today's.

He has. The entire team is awful. When the camera showed him he didn't look particularly bothered either. I'm guessing Meintjes is the leader and he's refusing to work as usual.

Yes so he was trying to prevent Thomas from getting bonus seconds and try to get the second himself.
