Well, getting a puncture isn't actually dangerous - other than for your GC chances.

You said the rain would have made the going soft and I was showing that it didn't :)

No, I said that rain might make dirt roads safer. As in; less risk of serious injury.

A picture is worth thousand words.

Nacer on the wrong here. Don't think he did it intentionally, but his carelesness should not go unpunished, especially when it spoiled Matthews' sprint the way it did.

A static picture means nothing, however.

It wasn't that bad but still a fair D'Q

And if Matthews would have crashed into the barriers and broken a bone?

Good DQ. Should be banned from UCI events until next January....

when you look at Bouhanni and on the barrier from the helicopter view, you can clearly see that he moved at least 50 cm to the left in that moment when he almost took down Matthews...rightfully disqualified

It wasn't the worst but Matthews proximity to the barriers and past form did Bouhanni no favours

Not his worst but Bouhanni has to realise he's a loose cannon. Even Kristoff backed off from that crazy stuff.

Matthews had a good 25 cm between him and the barriers: why did he swerve so close to Bouhanni?

Maybe that would be too dangerous? You talk about being 25cm away from the barriers as if it was meters. But even so, look at Nacer's body leaned towards Matthews whilst Matthews is keeping a straight line. Some things are just clear and don't deserve debate.

Bouhanni should be fired from the race. These things are too dangerous and its not his first time.

Ben Swift 6th... as usual the final corner pushes him back about five places.

Yep, he was boxed in and tried to get through anyway!

He closed the door from the other side of the road. He was only boxed in when he would have gone around if Bouhanni had kept his line.

If they wanted to complain about something being dangerous they should have mentioned Bouhanni being all over the road.

My crystal ball was correct apparently.

Oh well, my hatred for Matthews and Orica just got a massive boost today (even though it was already strong enough :D ).
Case closed.
