Afterall it could be worse. Thomas didn't win and AC gained a second on him
Edit. Forgot the bonus seconds on the finish line :(

Thomas and LRP would have dropped contador on stage 3 as well.

Given all the hype this was a lousy showing by him.

41% Contador to win Paris Nice! Nice one CN fans :D told you
Yes, they should have predicted Mont Brouilly stage getting cancelled
Would've been just another mountain for Thomas to outclimb Alberto on.

Yea he clearly outclimbed contador bro, it's not that Contador had a gap on him on the only steep part of the climb.

Clever guy heh?

I find it quite amusing that commentators still refer to Geraint Thomas as "young and talented" while Alberto Contador is "getting too old", even though there's only like 3 years between them...

The route was altered lol how can you even bring it up

To be fair, losing time to Thomas on 3 stages, including today gives absolutely zero chance that things would change in terms of GC on stage 3

Simon Yates with another great ride. Thought Thomas looked in trouble for a second when Alberto first attacked but Henao was very strong today.

hhhhmmm...how can contador beat Froome. He even got beaten by his sky second chair.

To be fair this climb was designed for a sprint in the last 300 meters, and we all know that Contador would never have won that sprint. Froome probably would've, but he's also a better sprinter than Contador, not that it say much.

If Froome was in this race he would've been right there in the mix and sprinting for the win. He wouldn't have dropped the others.

Just shame they didn't put the finish line midway up the climb!

No bonus seconds at the finish?

Zakarin was great on this stage. Perfect ride tactically. Was there a significant headwind btw? Majka fell off the cliff after working, Contador caught easily (although by Henao that was also facing a headwind), Porte dropped after attacks, Henao also suffering at the front
