Majka is the luckiest person today I guess. Can sit behind other wheels all day in the breakaway and then win the stage in the end.

I was about to post this. He can sit in the wheels all day and then just win the stage with ease, unless the breaks coorperation stops working because of Majka sitting on their wheels.
Only GvA will work I guess.

so astana have grivko in the break.tinkoff won't pull, astana either.so who will chase?

Giant, Movistar, FDJ, possibly Katusha, Cannondale and NL-Jumbo all have reason to chase, I'm guessing the break won't decide the winner.
Why should anyone but Movistar, Etixx, or Sky chase?

its 170km far out from the finish and serious pursuit hasn't started yet. Etixx will also have to work at the front very soon.

Cannondale have a history of putting all their men on the front and driving the pace at the midpoint of a stage for no reason whatsoever.

They've all got guys aiming for a good GC position (possibly not Katusha?) and Majka is out front (maybe add De Gendt in too but probably not). With AC maybe not being a good GC bet at the moment Tinkoff could switch to Majka, or at least protect him, if he takes a big chunk of time. He's unlikely to win, but if no-one pulls he could easily hold on to a top 5 if he doesn't have to dom for AC.

Majka is almost 18 minutes down in GC...

Too bad Cannondale didn't put anybody in the break. Howes and Slagter took it easy yesterday, I hoped they would have today in mind.

Majka going for top 5 would be a plottwist. :surprised:

Majka on the attack! Tinkoff wtf? and i'm gonna miss this stage :((

I don't understand it either. Either Contador is feeling really good or there is no hope at all.

It's Perfect! Contador has Kreuzinger and Kiserlovski with him in the mountains, and they won't have to chase as Majka is in the break and if it stays away will win!

Meh, it would be nice if the gap got bigger.

This could be interesting.
50 - 50 chance for breakaway, as it stands.
I'm expecting another set of attackers little later on.

Too many guys who can climb decently and are within 1 minute of GC lead. You don't want to have Voeckler 2011 all over again if you're a team of a rider who believes he can win TdF.

For those who cannot watch the entire stage today, what time/how many more hours will the real action begin? Thanks in advance.

Watch from 16:00 (CEST) and I think you'll get everything.

Perhaps a bit before (depending on how fast they'll ride) if you want to be sure to watch the beginning of Peyrol.
